About Us
Prior to 1984, Reed McCullough spent eight years working as a full-time upholsterer at House of Burgess in Rockville, Maryland. Eventually, Reed moved on to Cannon Upholstery in Bethesda, Maryland. There, he spent a number of years perfecting the skills of cutting and sewing to compliment his natural ability to create beautiful reupholstery work. At the same time, he was making a name for himself by working on side jobs in his basement and by word-of-mouth referral. By 1984, Reed was doing enough work on his own to support a business, so he resigned from Cannon Upholstery and created Reed McCullough Reupholstery. His name has now become household in many area homes and businesses. His work has even been published in the Fall, 2002 "Washington, Maryland, and Virginia Home & Design Magazine." Reed's wife, Donna, handles accounting and customer service while Joe, a long-time friend and upholsterer, works full-time to help Reed satisfy such a high demand.
